Caregiver Compensation - Arkansas

Arkansas offers one way to get paid as a family caregiver.

1. Arkansas Independent Choices: allows elderly and disabled adults who cannot complete activities of daily living to remain at home. The program allows family members to be compensated for the personal care services they provide. Costs of certain medical and accessibility equipment are also covered. 

Program Requirements

• MUST be Arkansas resident 

  • MUST be 18+

  • MUST require assistance with daily living activities

  • MUST be Medicaid eligible

  • Spouses and legal guardians are not eligible
