Caregiver Compensation - Wyoming

Wyoming offers one way to get paid as a family caregiver.

1. Long Term Care Waiver: is designed to allow elderly and/or disabled adults who require nursing facility level of assistance to receive care at home. This program allows certain family members to be hired and paid to carry out personal care services. Services may include: respite care and transportation. 

Program Requirements

• MUST be a Wyoming resident

  • MUST be 65+, OR, 19+ and disabled

  • MUST require nursing facility level of care

  • MUST be Medicaid eligible

  • Spouses are NOT eligible
